{"id":79,"date":"2019-07-22T23:49:33","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T23:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/seanholland.net\/portfolio\/?p=79"},"modified":"2019-07-24T23:23:38","modified_gmt":"2019-07-24T23:23:38","slug":"finding-the-right-tools-in-course-design-airtable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/seanholland.net\/portfolio\/finding-the-right-tools-in-course-design-airtable\/","title":{"rendered":"Airtable for Constructing a Language"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A project to create a course focused on creating a constructed language or &#8220;conlang&#8221; was devised by UAF Professor of Linguistics and Anthropology Robin Shoaps as part of the Chancellor&#8217;s Innovation in Technology and E-Learning program (CITE). Dr. Shoaps wanted to streamline the collaborative construction of language design, and found Google Sheets lacking in its ability to create linked records and display information.
