Creating a Guided Viewing Experience with PlayPosit

When instructors move to an online teaching format, they often miss the natural guidance that they can add to course materials in the classroom. One common approach that becomes nearly impossible is the shared experience of watching a film or documentary. To replicate that guided viewing experience in an online classroom, I used PlayPosit to add a layer of instructor-driven points of fact and reflection. This allowed students to watch the film while getting contextually appropriate guidance prepared by the instructor that did not interrupt their viewing experience.
